HOOKUPS
When working at a residence, we typically use the available electrical hookup (Standard 110v outlet) and standard water connection. Our electric power washer is safer for your vehicle's clear coat, and it operates quietly, so you won’t have to deal with the noise of a generator or gas power washer running for hours. When working at a business or any location without water and electrical access, we provide our own quiet inverter generator to minimize disturbance. We also bring all necessary hoses and electrical lines.
VEHICLE DOCUMENTATION
We take extensive photos and videos before and after each detail to document the vehicle's initial condition and the work performed. Any preexisting damage, such as dents, scratches, and cracks in the glass, along with other damage, will be recorded to protect us against unwarranted liability.
EXTREMELY DIRTY VEHICLES
If your vehicle is exceptionally dirty, such as having not been cleaned in years, transporting an entire muddy soccer team, or recently being used for off-roading activities, an additional 20% surcharge will be applied to your selected package or service. This surcharge is necessary to compensate for the extra time and materials required to achieve our high standards of cleanliness and detailing. We prioritize transparency and customer satisfaction, so you will be notified of this adjustment before we begin our services to ensure you are fully informed and in agreement with the revised pricing.
EXPECTATIONS
Please know that we strive for perfection in every detail we perform. However, depending on the age and condition of your vehicle, achieving absolute perfection may not always be possible. Before each detailing service, we will review the vehicle with you and identify any areas that may not be restored to like-new condition. Examples of such areas include, but are not limited to, wheel rims that have not been cleaned for an extended period, resulting in brake dust buildup that has corroded the finish and penetrated the metal, curb rash on wheel rims, deep scratches and dents, severe carpet or upholstery staining, and significant interior scuffs and scratches. Our goal is to ensure clear communication and manage expectations to provide the best possible results.

Shine On Mobile Auto Detailing is committed to providing the best mobile auto detailing and ceramic coating experience possible. We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing our services and outline the terms and conditions of our business. These policies are intended to protect both your rights and ours and to provide clarity on the extent of our services.
The most important terms are found at the top of this page under “Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy” and “Vehicle Terms.”
By scheduling any service with Shine On Mobile Auto Detailing, you agree to all terms outlined in this document.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
We do not require a deposit to secure your appointment at this time. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask that you provide ample notice so we can adjust our schedule accordingly. We understand that plans change and will work with you to reschedule.Please note, however, that if you cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment, a $25 cancellation fee will be applied. This is to cover the lost time that could have been allocated to other customers.
Vehicle Terms
Please ensure that all personal belongings, money, and significant items are removed from your vehicle before any service begins. For safety and liability reasons, Shine On Mobile Auto Detailing will not move personal belongings. If our technicians are delayed more than 15 minutes while waiting for personal belongings to be removed, we reserve the right to charge for lost time at our discretion. The same policy applies if you are late to your appointment.
We ask that excessive trash and debris be cleared from your vehicle before our arrival. If excessive trash remains, we reserve the right to charge a $50 Trash Removal Fee at our discretion.
If areas like the center armrest storage or glove compartment contain personal belongings, they will not be cleaned for privacy and safety reasons.
We ask that child car seats and booster seats be removed before our arrival. If they remain in the vehicle, we will clean around them to the best of our ability but cannot guarantee complete satisfaction. Due to safety concerns, we do not uninstall or reinstall car seats under any circumstances.
We reserve the right to adjust pricing based on the condition of your vehicle and the time required to complete the service. By booking with us, you acknowledge that our prices are variable depending on the condition of the vehicle upon inspection. We will always inform you of any additional charges before beginning work, so there are no surprise fees after service is completed.
Additional fees may apply to jobs that involve pet hair, stains, odors, hazardous materials (such as mold or waste), etc.
While we strive to remove pet hair and sand, these elements can be difficult to fully eliminate with standard vacuuming. Though we typically have success in removing visual traces, we do not guarantee complete removal of these elements.
We make no promises when it comes to the removal of stains or odors. We use professional-grade equipment and chemicals, but some stains and odors are permanent or deeply set. We will do our best and consult you on what can and cannot be removed from your vehicle’s interior.
Odors are not removed by cleaning alone and may require our specific odor treatment or attention from a specialist.
For windows, we always aim for a streak-free finish, but due to factors such as temperature and cleaning agents, a slight film may remain. If streaks appear, we recommend allowing the car to cool and then wiping the film off with a microfiber towel.
We are not responsible for damage to interior components such as buttons and knobs that are heavily soiled or compromised. Cleaning may cause dirt or makeup buildup to remove markings or cause wear on delicate areas. The headliner is gently cleaned, but stains may remain.
Headliner glue can loosen if cleaned too aggressively, leading to sagging over time. For this reason, headliners may not come completely clean, and if they appear too fragile, we may decline to clean them further to avoid damage.
We are not responsible for baked-on brake dust that cannot be fully removed from wheel surfaces or deep within the wheel. Some wheels may need repair or replacement.
Bird droppings, bug splatter, sap, and tar can chemically etch into your vehicle’s paint if left untreated, which may require additional work to remove. In some cases, these marks cannot be completely removed without compromising the clear coat.
Exterior black or gray trim pieces may be beyond restoration and could require replacement. While we will try to restore plastic trim to its original color, if previously discussed as part of your service, some pieces may not fully restore.
Any wax, sealant, or coating that is not properly maintained through safe hand washing may not last its intended durability period.
On-Site Service Terms
Payment is due in full upon completion of the service. You will receive multiple reminders to ensure prompt payment.
If a client cancels multiple times, we reserve the right to request full payment upfront as a condition for rescheduling. We also reserve the right to refuse service if scheduling or payment terms are not respected.
We reserve the right to alter or reschedule appointments in the event of weather, staff illness, or equipment failure. In such cases, we will notify you of the alternative arrangements as soon as possible.
Please maintain a safe distance of at least 10-15 feet from the work area to avoid any trip or slip hazards. If you need to speak with us during the service, please get our attention from a distance. We want to ensure your safety around equipment and cords.
We expect clients to communicate the condition of their vehicle before our arrival. If hazardous conditions such as urine, feces, semen, mold, or other materials are found upon inspection, Shine On Mobile Auto Detailing reserves the right to request partial payment without completing the service to ensure a safe work environment.
Photo / Video Rights
By scheduling a service with Shine On Mobile Auto Detailing, you grant us permission to post photos and videos of your vehicle before, during, and after service on our social media and marketing platforms. Your personal information, license plates, and home addresses will not be shared without your explicit consent. If you do not want photos or videos of your vehicle used for marketing purposes, please notify us in writing before the service begins.

Service Guarantee
If the service technician did not fulfill the service package as ordered or if there is clear evidence of poor craftsmanship, we will either refund or redo the unsatisfactory portion at our cost.
Any concerns must be reported at the time of post-inspection or within 24 hours of service completion. Failure to report within 24 hours voids any service guarantee.
If you refuse a redo of the unsatisfactory portion of the service, refunds will be limited to 20% of the service value.
Only services included in the original order and additional services authorized by Shine On Mobile Auto Detailing are covered by our service guarantee.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of your service. Refusal or failure to make payment invalidates our service guarantee, and any redo services or discounts will be at the sole discretion of Shine On Mobile Auto Detailing.
The client who books the service is responsible for agreeing to both a pre-inspection and post-inspection of their vehicle. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of any right to a refund.
Any claims must be submitted within 24 hours of service completion, along with supporting photographs, by emailing cardetailing.shineon@gmail.com.
Failure to disclose any pre-existing conditions, such as heavy stains, foul odors, biological waste, mold, mildew, chemical spills, or other hazardous materials at the time of booking voids our service guarantee. No additional work, refunds, or redo services will be performed beyond what was originally agreed upon in the service package or estimate.
Some issues may require services that go beyond the original scope of your order. Declining services recommended by our technicians may invalidate the service guarantee.
General Terms and Conditions, Terms of Payment, Legal Fees, and Disputes
The client agrees to make full payment prior to the release of the vehicle or products. Vehicles or products will not be released until full payment is processed. Any invoice not paid upon service completion is considered past due, and the client is responsible for all collection fees, including but not limited to attorney fees and court costs for unpaid balances. These may accrue at an interest rate of 18% per annum.
This is not an expectation contract; Shine On Mobile Auto Detailing is not responsible for buyer’s remorse.
By accepting the completed service, product, or vehicle, you are agreeing that the job has been performed to your satisfaction. It is the client’s responsibility to inspect the vehicle or product upon receipt. Any disputes regarding an invoice must be submitted in writing within three days of the invoice date. After three days, the invoice will be considered accepted. Clients must provide a written explanation of any disputed work or charges. Upon investigation, if an error is found on our part, we will make the necessary corrections.
Shine On Mobile Auto Detailing is not responsible for loss or damage to vehicles or items left inside vehicles in the case of fire, theft, accidents, or any other cause beyond our control. We do not accept responsibility for consequential damages or losses related to the sale, installation, or delivery of our services and products.
It is the client’s responsibility to read our Terms & Conditions available on our website prior to contacting Shine On Mobile Auto Detailing for any services.
Estimates
Estimates are provided in good faith based on the information available at the time. They are valid for 30 days and are subject to change based on further inspection or additional findings.
Vehicle Inspection/Condition
A pre-inspection will be completed with the client before any work begins on the vehicle. During this time, any concerns will be pointed out by the technician, and the client is responsible for clearly explaining what they expect from the service.
Shine On Mobile Auto Detailing is not responsible for pre-existing conditions such as scratches, cracks, or other damage on the vehicle’s surfaces. These conditions may be more visible after coatings or paint protection services are applied, and they can also impact the longevity of these treatments. We reserve the right to refuse service to any vehicle based on its condition or for any reason.
Changes/Corrections/Errors
We reserve the right to correct inaccuracies, pricing errors, omissions, and descriptions of services or products at any time without prior notice. Availability and other information can also be updated without prior notice.
